This 4th of July we started it off with a sweltering parade in the morning. I am not exaggerating when I say at least 15 people in the parade said how beautiful Mandy was. She was living it up! One person even came over, pet her and gave her a treat. She was mighty popular. After the parade we decided to take Ryker on his first bowling alley journey. For those of you who do not know, I am obsessed with Thekrazycouponlady.com and I follow it daily for latest coupons and deals around the city. I had found one for a free game of bowling July1-4th. Figured we would test it out for the first time with a free pass.
Anyway, Ryker was really into until about frame 8..then it was..lets lay on the floor and roll around all over time. Overall, it was fun and we will go again sometime soon for sure.
After bowling we all took a little nap and then went to our friends house for grilling and swimming. We had a blast with them as always.
From swimming we went to watch fireworks. Some of the fireworks displays were cancelled here this year due the extreme dryness that is Texas right now. Our city however, still had the show go on. I hope all of you also had a wonderful time this 4th of July.
These are by far the cutest little pair of bowling shoes I have ever seen.
This is how he watched it each time.
