We had a BLAST in Iowa. It was such an odd feeling visiting the place you called home for nearly all of your life. I had moved away years ago to Ohio with my parents, but this move was different. Being an adult with my own family meant it was a big move, and most likely permanent. It was exhausting because we were busy the whole time we were back, but worth every missed wink of sleep and late night with Ryker in the hotel. Iowa will always be home to me. I will admit though, after 13 hours of driving home with a 3 year old alone, it was good to get back to Texas. :)
