Summer time fun

Thanks pinterest!
A few weeks ago I bought some glow sticks for about $5 at the dollar store. We threw them all into the bathtub and Ryker LOVED it. He did not want to get out at all.

We went to Lego Land a few weeks ago. We had been wanting to take Ryker for a while, but just hadnt gotten around to it yet. It was a pretty cool (and pricey) place. He had lots of fun building things and seeing all the really cool displays of Lego built items.

The baby room
This is a picture of the baby room pretty much ready to go. We went with an owl themed room. We are pretty happy with how it turned out.

Happy 4th of July! We spent the day with friends, eating food and having a good time. The kids played out back in the sprinkler and had lots of fun.

Almost firework time!

Its a boy!

Shortly after we found out I HAD to have a fun shoot to send out to our family and friends letting them know what we were having.

I have finally reached and passed the halfway mark of this pregnancy. I am currently 21 weeks as of today. (I was 20 in this picture) The baby as well as me, are growing nicely. It has been a very hard pregnancy (to say lightly) up until recently. I finally have an appetite back and my general love for life as well. It was brutal, but I know worth it. We go this week to get another ultrasound just to make sure everything is where it needs to/should be. We still have not decided on a name, but we have a couple that are strong possibilites. We are taking any and all suggestions.  :)

My mom recently came to stay with us for a month while we moved. She was a HUGE help to us and we can't thank her enough. We always love having grandma here. While she was here we did a few different fun activities. One was a place called Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth. It has all kinds of cabins from the 1800's and all the info you could want on them. They also have people inside them dressed as if they were in the 1800's giving you all kinds of information about that particular cabin. We had had a good time.

He LOVED ringing the school bell over and OVER.

I decided instead of trying to play catch up..I will just post a few pictures from some things we have done lately to get everyone current. Here we go!
Texas has a tradition of getting your photo with the bluebonnets when they pop up in the spring. They are not around for long, but they are very pretty and smell wonderful.
This was Easter with my moms group. Kids had a blast!

On Easter Sunday we went to the botanic gardens and got to enjoy the butterfly exhibit that they had. Ryker was TERRIFIED. It may sound mean, but it was so strange that it was funny. Other than that, we had a great time seeing all the beautiful flowers and butterflies.

Recently ryker finished up his first team anything season. He had a lot of fun, and we look forward to trying something else new in the near future.

When I was 16 weeks along we went to a checkup and got to find out what we were having. We are having ANOTHER BOY!! We had a gender reveal party with our friends to tell them and had a great time. If you know me you know that it was hard for me not to tell anyone for a few days, but I did and was proud of myself.

The cupcakes had blue filling in them telling what we were having.

My parents visit Texas

In mid February my parents came to visit us here in Texas. (this was my moms 3rd trip) It was my dad's first. I was extremely sick the whole time(baby sick) but tried my hardest to show them a good time. I think we managed to have a pretty good time despite my illness. It was great to have them hear.
