NKOTBSB!!!

A few months ago I won tickets to go see NKOTBSB( just incase you live under a rock) that is, New kids on the block and Backstreet boys combined. The concert was last night in Dallas at the American Airlines Center. It was SO SO much fun! It was like feeling 14 all over again.

Summer time and the living is easy

We have been VERY busy this summer. Between my mom visiting, play dates, shoots for me, Brian working, splash pad, swimming, and everything else, we have kept very busy. Not that I am complaining or anything, because I love to keep busy and do fun things with our friends. Summers in Texas have proved so far to indeed be extremely hot, but if you have the right equipment (such as pools, sprinklers, and water tables) you can make it very fun. Not to mention the tans we are getting. Im sure our vitamin D levels are more than exceptional at this point.
Ryker is growing at a rapid rate every day. He is basically talking so much that you can almost hold a real conversation with him at this point. Even though I hear the words, firetruck, car, Manny(Mandy), and of course NO, more than 82 times a day, I LOVE hearing his sweet little voice.
Another huge thing that has happened is that Ryker is just about all the way potty trained. This has been more than a struggle for us, so we are VERY excited about this and so is our bank account. We are so proud of the little boy he is slowly growing into. He, overall, is a very sweet and well mannered little boy. We are very blessed for sure.

He loves his stationary bike

Getting WAY to grown up looking for mommy :(

Mom visits the lone star state

This past mid May-June, my mom came to the good ol Lone star state to visit us all. We had many days of sun bathing in the pool and just relaxing. It was so nice to just do whatever we felt like and not to be on any planned schedule as it usually tends to be. I took her to see some of the sights of Downtown Dallas, Fort Worth, and other little random areas around us. We had a GREAT time with Grandma and can't wait to see each other again in a few months. As always, it is very hard to say goodbye, but we know we will see her again soon!
