Easter 2011

Today we went to a fellow Diaper Diva's(one of my mommy groups) house for a family Easter get together. We had such a good time. The kids have SO much fun playing together. This is just 2 of the friends I have made so far. They are a great group of mommas. Amy(the one in the middle) is actually also from Des Moines and went to East high school on the other side of town. It is such a small world.

This is some of that dads/husbands in the group. They had fun playing darts and talking about guns, sports, and playing darts.

Air show

The other day one of my mommy group meet ups was to go to this FREE air show at the fort worth base. It was SO cool. I didn't know what to expect really as I have never attended anything like it before. They had every kind of jet, plane, car, firetruck, etc that you could think of. We had a fantastic time and will for sure go again next year.

Bunny dayz

We went to an event last week called bunny dayz. It was all free put on by the city with activities for the kids, and of course..the easter bunny attended.

Deep into creating mode

Fuddruckers and the lake

In the past few days we have had a couple more play dates. One was at Fuddruckers. The kids got to take a tour of the place and see how it all works, then they provided lunch for all the kids for free. It was great!

We have a very large lake about 2 miles away that Ryker and I frequent. We love to go and play, run around, and the best thing..feed all the ducks.

I think he is getting a bit large for this swing if you ask me.

Playdate

I have made some wonderful friends down here through some mommy groups I joined In December after we moved here. This was a playdate here not too long ago. Its so nice to have have friends to sit and chit chat with.

This is Mr. Finn...he's adorable.

Ryker and Derek...Two peas in a pod

We recently wanted to try a "hole in the wall" type restaurant for breakfast. We found one and it was pretty good. Ryker got a HUGE plate of french toast and basically devoured it. The first picture shows how he felt halfway through.

Ohio part 2

After 20 days in Ohio, it was time to return back to the lone star state. We had a WONDERFUL time with Grandma and Grandpa Williams. One of the things we did before we left was go to the largest toy train set up. It was very cool and we had a lot of fun. The train set up was something like 40,000 square feet. Can't wait to go back to Ohio soon. Its always hard to leave, but so much fun to go.
